A trough of low pressure to the east of the archipelago will interact with a tropical wave south of the islands to produce pockets of unsettled weather through Thursday. A rather weak pressure pattern over the islands will maintain gentle to moderate winds, light and variable at times. That low-pressure area east of The Bahamas will move north-northwestward and then off to the northeast with a trough that will trail over the Northern islands. A ridge of high pressure over the Western Atlantic will migrate towards the islands and will cause the winds to flow mainly from the east to southeast with lots of tropical moisture.

Winds: East to Southeast at 10 knots or less, falling light and variable at times in the Northwest Bahamas; Easterly at 10 to 15 knots in the Central and Southeast Bahamas. Seas: 3 feet or less over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas and 2 to 4 feet in the Central and Southeast Bahamas.
