If you are not familiar with the music of Cornet “NagiaSym” Symonette, find a way to listen to her old stuff to prepare you for her newly dropped single “Walk It Out” and the upcoming release of her EP “FaithxWork”, which is expected to drop January 2022. NagiaSym says when you hear her new music, you won’t believe it’s the same person.

NagiaSym has transitioned to the genre of Caribbean Urban Gospel, which means when you hear her music now, you can expect to hear a little afro beat, some reggae and a little Calypso all mixed in together.

“This is the genre God has transitioned me to, and I am grateful for it and I embrace it,” said NagiaSym. “I don’t want to be just the traditional singer or the worship leader that everybody expects. I want to be something totally different and I believe that’s why God pushed me into that category, so ‘FaithxWork’ is going to be awesome.”

The FaithxWork EP will feature a variety of styles – NagiaSym gospel reggae,

Apostolic and praise break.

“FaithxWork is my testimony album,” said NagiaSym. “For so many years, I’ve had the faith to believe in myself, but I was inconsistent with putting in the work,” she said.

The title for the soon-to-be-released EP, she said, was given to her by God.

“I was praying to God and saying what did you want me to name this project – I have the faith, I been knowing I wanted to get out and do music, but I wasn’t putting in the work. The Bible tells us faith without work is dead, so God gave me the name – ‘FaithxWork’ – so, faith times work equals results.”

Before the EP is released, NagiaSym encourages people to check out her hot new reggae gospel single “Walk It Out”; the video for which dropped on August 25.

The song, which was written by NagiaSym, encourages believers everywhere to not give up, and to walk it out when life gets tough or when their walk with God gets rough. She reminds people that the race is not for the swift, but for the people who endure until the end.
