The Supreme Court will on July 27 hear a case that could have far-reaching implications for developers and residents of Bahamas-based condominium complexes, as it will have to determine whether an alleged "6 per cent minority" and Court order can override statute law and the Declaration of Condominium.

The matter, which will be heard before Justice Hartman Longley, concerns a seemingly innocuous but long-running dispute at the Freeport-based Silver Point Condominium Apartments - involving various unit owners - over "non-conforming windows and doors".
