Team Bahamas, Returning from the World Youth Championships on Tuesday, July 12, Team Bahamas was met at the Lynden Pindling International Airport by Minister of Youth Sports and Culture the Hon. Charles Maynard along with the Hon. Tommy Turnquest, the Hon. Earl Deveaux and other government officials. Also on hand at the airport were President of BAAA, Mike Sands; family, friends and fans.

Afterwards the team was hosted to a reception at Mario's Entertainment Centre by owner, former MP Leslie Miller.
