A cold front will quickly move through and exit the islands today as high pressure builds across the area resulting in partly sunny, mostly dry and breezy conditions through most of the week. The high will shift eastwards further into the Atlantic winds allowing for a southeasterly flow with temperatures expected to warm up near the weekend. Another frontal boundary will approach the Bahamas on the weekend and stall across the Northwest Bahamas on Sunday allowing rain chances to increase by then.

Seas: 4 to 6 feet over the ocean in the Northwest and Central Bahamas and higher in gusts and 2 to 4 feet in the Southeast Bahamas.
