A ridge of high pressure across The Bahamas generates moderate to fresh breezes. However, a quasi-stationary front just north of the islands will increase cloud cover and generate a few showers and thunderstorms over the Extreme Northwest Bahamas before it lifts northwards and away from the islands through Tuesday.  The combination of a persistent moist, southerly flow, light winds at night, along with almost clear skies will enhance radiational cooling and produce mist, shallow fog in patches and even dense fog at times during the early morning hours before sunrise through Wednesday.  High pressure will continue to dominate the weather over The Bahamas with mainly stable conditions and moderate to fresh breezes through Saturday.
