BTC gifted five community organizations with monetary support to help make the holidays a little brighter for those in need during the holiday season.

The Children’s Emergency Hostel, Hands for Hunger, Elizabeth Children’s Home, FOAM and Reach out and Touch Ministries in Grand Bahama all received donations.

BTC CEO, Garry Sinclair said, “The pandemic has affected us all this year, and as a corporate citizen we believe that it is our responsibility to support our customers and our communities particularly when they really need it most.

Since the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic, BTC focused on providing support to ease the burden for so many in need. We continued our partnership with Great Commission Ministries which provides hot meals for hundreds of residents daily and we teamed up with a number of organizations to enable them to support our communities. 

Christmas was no different for us, and in addition to our BTC employees who personally purchased Christmas gifts for children’s homes, the company provided donations to five organizations.”

Charlene Gibson from the Children’s Emergency Hostel said, “This donation comes at a time when we need it most. Since the pandemic, we’ve seen a huge decrease in donations at the hostel to assist with the facility as well as purchasing items for the children. Thank you for this donation and we truly appreciate BTC’s generosity.”


Founder of Families of all Murder Victims (FOAM), Khandi Gibson said, “We thank BTC for this donation, which will go a long way. During the entire pandemic, BTC has been a strong supporter and I am very excited, especially as a former employee to see my former workplace partner with my organization.”

In addition to providing donations for Christmas, BTC’s team members also purchased over forty gifts for children from Bilney Lane Children’s Home and Nazareth Children’s Home.
