Curb Appeal, Anyone?

Kickin’ it Curbside – Brooke Phillips Pyfrom and Jenn Treco take the Competent Authority’s charge -- curbside retail only -- to heart.

They put contemporary outdoor bean bag chairs and foot stools out front of Oasis Outdoor Furniture in front of Phillips Sailmakers & Awning Manufacturers on East Shirley Street and then plopped down to see how curbside felt.

“There are some things you can sell by the side of the road,” said Pyfrom. “Couches, like bras, are more challenging.

We’re using our imagination, doing the best we can to salvage some business but can’t wait to open the doors of our Sandyport store with indoor furniture, décor and gifts and to welcome customers back to outdoor style location on East Shirley.”

Pyfrom is a Director of Oasis Bahamas Ltd., a home, resort and commercial décor business that opened in 2009 and Treco is the in-house designer who works with clients and other designers and decorators in individual and large-scale projects.
