Today, Limeade, a Bahamian owned company, joined forces with The Munroe Foundation to assist Travis Robinson the Member of Parliament for the Bain and Grants town constituency in hosting “Community Cares” at the Fellowship Word and Disciple Center.

Food and Limeade gallons were distributed to the people living in the area of Bain and Grants Town.

The initiative comes at a time when many are out of work, due to the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic and could use a sense of togetherness. “A small gesture can make big difference, we’re just doing our part to make someone’s day a little brighter” stated Joshua Miller, owner of Limeade.

Member of Parliament Travis Robinson is no stranger to getting involved and was excited about the event, as he has always been actively involved in his constituency. He and his team went door to door distributing coupons that were redeemed today to collect the items.

“The goal was to distribute 100 gallons of limeade, but as the plan developed we were encouraged by the many groups and individuals that agreed to partner with us”. “Thanks to our partners, 250 plates of food and gallons of Limeade and sanitizers were given out today” states Joshua.

With community partnerships being one of their main initiatives, The Munroe Foundation played a major role in making this day happen through the use of their facility and their generous food donation.

“As one of our core focuses, we want to continue to have a heart for people.” A goal that always has and always will be what the Munroe Foundation stands for. “Today would not have been possible without our partners and we are grateful to those that assisted in any way to make it happen.” Says Joshua. He continued, “I would like to say a special thank you to Believe Wines, A B Swaby, ARM Bottling Suppliers, Green Thumb Group and Bahamas Medical Supplies.” Limeade is an all-natural, bottled lime based beverage.

In every bottle of limeade are limes that were handpicked and locally grown. Our product epitomizes “All Things Bahamian.” There are several flavors to choose from including strawberry limeade, ginger limeade and our home style limeade. We are located on Moss Road and University Drive or for your convenience you can now purchase limeade on Kanoo or Kraven.
