Looking to celebrate independence just a little differently this year?  Then you need to hop on the #WeaReUp Party Bus that will leave Miami, Florida on Sunday, July 7 and travel to Atlanta, Georgia, to celebrate the country's 38th birthday in grand style with Bahamians resident in Georgia. It's in the Peachtree state that Bahamian rap artists RAPPQuelle and SosaMan Major will help Bahamians resident in Georgia, celebrate the 38th anniversary of Bahamian independence in grand style at Vibes Night Club, located on Glenwood Road in Decatur, Georgia on Saturday, July 9. Under the theme "United in Love and Service, the Bahama Mamas, Ann Marie Turner and Gaylene Francis with Mix Master David present the independence celebration at the Glenwood Road, location of the club which will be hosted by Bahamian national and international media personality Africa Allah of www.diradiocast.com. The Bahamas to the World #WeaReUp Party Bus leaves Miami, Florida on the evening of Thursday, July 7 and returns from Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, July 10. The entire weekend of activities will be recorded and streamed across DIRadioCast.com. The Bahamian Independence celebrations will be just one of a series of events that have turned out to make 2011 a celebratory one for Bahamians in Georgia, starting with an outstanding Peachtree Carnival turnout, Memorial Day Weekend and a well-attended Caribbean heritage display at The Capital in June. The Bahamas Consulate General in Atlanta will also celebrate the 38th anniversary of Bahamian independence with a picnic on Saturday, July 9, 2011 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Beach House at Camp Exposure in Lithonia, Georgia. This event is is strictly BYOC (bring your own lounge chair).
