The Public Hospitals Authority (PHA) has actioned immediate repairs to an area in the Princess Margaret Hospital, after heavy rains compromised a temporary construction measure.

The area, an unoccupied room adjacent to the Office of the Duty Sister, experienced flooding after last week’s heavy downpours.

The event occurred as the PHA is continuing necessary roof repairs in the area. The area has been resealed and the permanent works to complete the repairs continue.
