As the economy opens up and workers return to work, NIB advises that employers should submit a letter via email to returntowork@nib-bahamas.com advising of the resumption of work by their employees, as this will affect the on-going of their unemployment benefit claim.

This notification should take place promptly upon the employee's return to work and should specify the re-start for each employee.
