The Ministry of Disaster Preparedness, Management and Reconstruction conducts Shelter Management Training at the Wheatley Grant Community Centre in Hunter's, Grand Bahama as the official June 1 to November 30 hurricane season emerges. 

The Ministry, which oversees the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) held a press conference, May 31, 2020 to announce the season's onset and need to be prepared for what could be a notably active year.
