-Bahamas in Phase 3 of re-opening plan
-All islands of The Bahamas may resume normal commercial operations, except for New Providence, Grand Bahama and Bimini, effective 2 June.
-Weekday curfew reduced from 24-hours, to 9pm to 5am Monday-Friday, effective 2 June
-Exercise permitted Monday to Friday 5am – 9pm beyond one’s immediate neighbourhood, effective 2 June
-Worship services now allowed in sanctuary for New Providence, Grand Bahama and Bimini, effective 6 June – following protocols.
-Weekend lockdown remains Friday 9pm to Monday 5am; exercise during lockdown permitted in immediate neighborhood 5am to 9pm.
-State of Emergency extended to 29 June
-During Whit Monday and Labour Day holidays, weekend lockdown measures will be in effect, food stores will be permitted to open 6am-7pm, food takeaways and drive-thrus and restaurants providing takeaway and delivery services may operate 6am to 7:30pm
-All non-essential storefront business in-store operations permitted on New Providence, Grand Bahama and Bimini, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, effective 2 June. This includes, furniture stores, clothing, cosmetic, jewelry and other miscellaneous retail.
-Restaurants (except for curbside and deliveries), bars, gyms, hair salons and barbershops, movie theaters, cultural facilities and entertainment facilities remain closed on New Providence, Grand Bahama and Bimini.
-Public parks and beaches open on all islands except for Bimini, Eleuthera, Exuma, Grand Bahama, Harbour Island, New Providence and Paradise Island and San Salvador, effective 2 June.
-Gaming House operators may operate with physical distancing and sanitization protocols, 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, effective 2 June.
-No new confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported since 23 May
