CBS Bahamas lauds PM's announcement on hardware stores

The prime minister’s announcement yesterday that the operating hours and days for the construction industry and hardware stores will be expanded, means CBS Bahamas will be able to bring staff on permanently and reduce some pressure on the National Insurance Board (NIB), the company’s co-owner and President John Treco told Guardian Business yesterday.

He added that the announcement means CBS can begin to work on a six- to seven-week backlog of orders. As a manufacturer of hurricane-proof windows and other hurricane-related products, he said things will now begin to “kick off”.
