Scotiabank has made changes to its branch operations in an effort to protect customers and staff against the threat of the COVID 19 virus. The Bank will close some of its branches for the next 2 weeks as part of its business continuity planning.
The following branches will be temporarily closed until April 13, 2020 (inclusive of the Easter holiday)
Bay Street East
East & Soldier Road
Freeport, Grand Bahama [will re-open April 6, 2020]
Paradise Island
Wulff & Jerome
Thompson Blvd
Branches remaining open to customers are as follows:
Cable Beach
Carmichael Road
Nassau Main
Palmdale
Nicholls Town, Andros
Georgetown, Exuma
Additionally, only transactions that cannot be conducted using one of the bank’s self-service channels will be accommodated in branches at this time.
Scotiabank Automated Banking Machines remain available for use 24 hours per day. Scotia Online and the new Scotia mobile banking app are available to customers free of cost, 24 hours per day. Transactions that may conducted using these channels include:
Bill payments
Loan payments
Funds transfer between personal accounts of to any account at a local bank
Review of account balance and account activity
Changes to operating hours
Branch operating hours are currently 9:30A.M. – 1:00P.M. Monday to Friday. Priority access will be given to senior citizens at all branches for the first 30 minutes after opening. The general public will be admitted thereafter.
