Six new COVID-19 cases in The Bahamas

There are six new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on New Providence, Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis announced today. This brings the total number of cases to 21 – 18 on New Providence and three on Grand Bahama. Dr. Minnis said the eastern end of New Providence has been identified as a COVID-19 hotspot. “As expected we are in a surge,” he said. “This is a community spread.”
