General Situation: A weak frontal system currently over the Central Bahamas will dissipate by tomorrow. High pressure will dominate weather conditions across the country through Wednesday. A weak cold front will make its way into the Northwest Bahamas during the morning hours on Wednesday and continue southeastward across the Central Bahamas Thursday morning. Winds are expected increase ahead and behind the front, but should fall off quickly.

Friday 27th – Mostly and warm today, with a slight chance of passing showers, mainly in the vicinity of the frontal system. Fair and mild tonight. Maximum temperature 86°F and Minimum temperature 70°F. Winds NE to E at 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Saturday 28 - Mostly sunny, warm and a bit breezy during the day. Fair, mild and breezy at night. Maximum temperature 86°F and Minimum temperature 70°F. Small Craft caution in effect for the Central and SE Bahamas. Winds E to SE at 15 knots over the NW and E to SE at 15 to 20 knots over the Central and SE Bahamas. Seas 3 to 5 feet in the NW Bahamas and 4 to 6 feet in the Central and SE Bahamas.

Sunday 29 – Mostly sunny, warm and breezy during the daytime. Fair and breezy at night. Maximum temperature 86°F and Minimum temperature 71°F. Small Craft caution in effect for the NW and Central Bahamas and Small Craft Advisory in effect for the SE Bahamas. Winds E to SE at 15 to 20 knots over the NW and Central Bahamas and E to SE at 15 to 25 knots over the SE Bahamas. Seas 4 to 6 feet in the NW and Central Bahamas and 5 to 8 feet in the SE Bahamas.

Monday 30 – Mostly sunny and warm during the daytime. Mainly fair at night. Maximum temperature 86°F and Minimum temperature 71°F. Small Craft caution in effect for the Central and SE Bahamas. Winds E to SE at 10 to 15 knots over the NW Bahamas and E to SE at 15 to 20 knots over the Central and SE Bahamas. Seas 2 to 4 feet in the NW Bahamas and 4 to 6 feet in the Central and SE Bahamas.

Tuesday 31– Mostly sunny and warm with a slight chance of passing showers during the day. Mainly fair at night with an isolated shower or two possible. Maximum temperature 87°F and Minimum temperature 72°F. Winds SE to S at 10 to 15 knots over the NW Bahamas and E to SE at 10 to 15 knots over the Central and SE Bahamas. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Wednesday 1st – Occasionally cloudy with a few scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms over the Northwest Bahamas. Partly sunny and warm during the day with a chance of passing showers over the Central and Southeast Bahamas. Mainly fair at night with a spotty shower or two possible. Maximum temperature 88°F and Minimum temperature 71°F. Small Craft Advisory in effect for the NW Bahamas. Winds over the NW Bahamas: SW to W at 15 to 25 knots ahead of the front, shifting NW to N at 15 to 25 knots after the front passes. Winds over the Central and SE Bahamas: SE to S at 10 to 15 knots. Seas 5 to 8 feet in the NW Bahamas and 2 to 4 feet in the Central and SE Bahamas.

Thursday 2 – Partly cloudy with a chance of passing showers over the NW Bahamas. Occasionally cloudy, with a few scattered showers mainly in the vicinity of the front, over the Central and SE Bahamas. Maximum temperature 84°F and Minimum temperature 70°F. Small Craft caution in effect due to swells. Winds NW to N at 10 to 15 knots over the NW and Central Bahamas. SW to W at 10 to 15 knots ahead of the front, shifting NW to N at 10 to 15 knots after the front passes. Seas 2 to 4 feet, but up to 6 feet in NE swells.
