Good afternoon,

Today I would like to provide an update on the COVID- 19 coronavirus in The Bahamas. As of Tuesday, 24th March, the Ministry of Health has confirmed five cases of COVID-19 in The Bahamas.

The previously announced four cases are in New Providence. The latest case is in Grand Bahama and has no significant travel history. Contact-tracing is aggressively underway.
