"Leaders get it right when they do their best," said the Hon. Lanisha Rolle, Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture during the recent 2020 Global Leadership Summit at Melia Nassau Beach resort.

Minister Rolle said for the past six years the summit has offered a place and space for leaders to 'sharpen the saw' as leadership writer Steven Covey put it.

"Influencing change across 130 countries, Minister Rolle said, this forum in particular plays a significant role in shaping the minds and attitude of serving and upcoming leaders within countries, by its particular presentation of a universal leadership model that guides best global practices for the benefit of: personnel development, business growth, social upliftment, community building, national progress through government partnership programmes and initiatives, and the strengthening of the first institution, the family.

Minister Rolle is pictured during her address. Also present were Chairman Gadville McDonald; Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture Acting Under Secretary Renee Bullard; Head of the Youth Division Sandena Neely; a number of Ministry staff who participated in the Summit; and various Government staff, civic representatives and high school students.
