Consumer Protection Symposium Reminds Consumers of their Rights

The Consumer Protection Commission (CPC) of the Ministry of Labour held a one-day Symposium Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Franklyn Wilson Auditorium, University of The Bahamas, on the theme 'Consumers Do you know your Rights?'

The objective of the Symposium was to remind Bahamian consumers of their rights and allow consumer agencies to outline their mandates and services for the public.

Participants included representatives from Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (URCA), CPC, Bahamas Power and Light (BPL), Bahamas Bureau of Standards and Quality, Price Commission Section (BBSQ), and Rent Control.
