The University of The Bahamas (UB) Mingoes lost their first match of the 2020 Bahamas Football Association’s (BFA) season to the Western Warriors Titans, 2-1, on Sunday at the Roscow A.L. Davies Field. The Mingoes, playing without two of the team’s regular starters, allowed an own goal from Jervane Turnquest in the eighth minute of play. The Mingoes were able to hold the Titans to that lone goal in the first half, going into the intermission down 1-0 thanks in part to the six saves by goalkeeper Aaron Munnings. Munnings had nine altogether on the afternoon. The Titans scored in the 64th minute off a penalty kick to go ahead 2-0. Ronaldo Green got an edge on Munnings and pushed the ball to the back of the net for the Titans. The Mingoes were determined not to finish scoreless. On some brilliant footwork, Rasean Rolle was able to connect in the 79th minute of play to get them on the scoreboard.
