Prime Minister Minnis Opens 'Refuge' Exhibit at the National Art Gallery

Prime Minister the Most Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis officially opened an art exhibition at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas (NAGB) entitled, 'Refuge,' on Thursday evening, December 19, 2019. The exhibit expresses thoughts and feelings of artists primarily from Abaco and Grand Bahama, who were directly affected by Category 5 Hurricane Dorian. Under the patronage of Prime Minister Minnis and Mrs. Minnis, the exhibit will run to March 29, 2020. The Prime Minister is pictured being given a guided tour of the exhibit by Chief Curator Holly Bynoe, and addressing the gallery audience.
