As another year of Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis comes to a close, it sees the "Michigan Wolverines" and "Gonzaga Bulldogs" battle it out to be crowned championship royalty.
As with every year the crowd was out in full force, amped volume, high energy and the two teams on the court brought that and 10 times more.
Out the gate the first half erupted in an explosive display of high level competitive basketball. The desire from both sides to win was thick in the air and the crowd felt it.
Gonzaga started to show up defensively from early on quickly racking up points on the board, however, Michigan wasn't far behind.
Isaiah Livers showed up with 2 big 3 pointers and well as controls the ball and pace of the defense and offense. Eli Brooks and Jon Teske were creating double trouble team work on the court; Brooks shoots and Teske scores.
Michigan's defense and offense in the first half was near flawless giving them the 36 led by the end to the Gonzaga 27.
Coming into the second half Gonzaga again had a strong start, eventually eating away at Michigan's led only being behind by 2 point. Then again, like in the first half Michigan's all around game proved to be too much for the Bulldogs to shut down.
With Zavier Simpson showing up with the jump shots, David Dejulius and Livers knocking down consecutive 3 pointers and Teske constantly salvaging his teammates missed shot attempts and finishing them off with crowd shaking dunks Michigan went on to win 82 to 64.
