Road Works at Independence Drive/Baillou Road/Tonique Williams Darling Raoundabout

The Ministry of Public Works/Bahamix has scheduled milling and paving works for the Roundabout at the junction of Independence Drive/Baillou Hill Road/Tonique Williams Darling Highway.

The Road Work is scheduled to be carried out beginning Monday, December 2nd 2019, through Wednesday, December 4th 2019, from 8:00pm to 2:00am.

The works will only incorporate the circular section of the road, but there will be full road closures implemented for all arteries leading to the Roundabout for the duration of the works.

All West bound traffic from Independence Drive will be Detoured on to East Street and directed along Robinson Road, onto Baillou Road, and then onto Celery Drive, and finally to Games Boulevard in order to connect to Tonique Williams Darling Highway.

All North bound traffic from Baillou Hill Road will be Detoured on to Soldier Road, then to East Street and directed along Robinson Road, onto Baillou Road, and then onto Celery Drive and finally to Games Boulevard in order to connect to Tonique Williams Darling Highway.

All East bound traffic from Tonique Williams Darling Highway will be Detoured on to Games Boulevard, then onto Celery Drive to Baillou Hill Road. The detour will continue onto Coconut Grove Avenue and follow Market Street and directed to Robinson Road.
