Governor General His Excellency the Most Hon. Cornelius A. Smith and Minister of National Security the Hon. Marvin Dames joined Commissioner of Correctional Services Charles Murphy and the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services (BDOCS) at the Corrections Month Annual Church Service, held at the Voice of Deliverance, on November 3, 2019. Among those present included Permanent Secretary Eugene Poitier; Commissioner of Police Anthony Ferguson; senior officers of The Bahamas' uniformed branches; Member of Parliament for Fox Hill the Hon. Shonell Ferguson; members of the clergy; and various stakeholders and family members. Corrections Chaplin and Host Pastor Chief Apostle Leon Wallace brought the sermon and led a prayer for BDOCS staff.
