It's festival season

It’s festival season, and it kicks off this weekend with the 24th International Culture, Wine & Food Festival (ICWFF), but will be followed up by the always popular 29th Annual Wine & Art Festival and the much-anticipated Jollification. ICWFF, which is akin to two days of eating and drinking around the world with participants putting the culture of their native lands on display, takes place October 19-20 at the Botanical Gardens. It is anticipated that the nationalities participating will be more than 20, with 120 booths for patrons to peruse offerings that run the gamut from food and drink, to art, craft and even national clothing, which means there will be something for everyone. This year, new to the ICWFF will be movie night, with the showing of “Spider Man” taking place on the main lawn at 7 p.m. Patrons are encouraged to bring their fold-up chairs and blankets to enjoy the movie-on-the-lawn experience.
