Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture the Hon. Lanisha Rolle encouraged students "start strong to finish stronger," as she served as the keynote speaker at the Kingsway Academy Grade Six Induction Service and Dedication Ceremony, at the school, on October 4, 2019. Among those present was Consultant in the Division of Youth, Sandena Neely. Highlights of the service included the Ceremony of Candles and Parent Pledge, the Grade Six Pledge, a Prayer of Dedication and Blessing by Pastor Gil Maycock, tribute to parents by the students, and remarks by Elementary School Principal Gina Ferguson. The event also coincided with the month of October being National Youth Month.
