Prime Minister Minnis attends the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly

New York -- Prime Minister the Most Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis and a delegation including the Minister of Foreign Affairs the Hon. Darren Henfield and the Minister of Transport and Local Government the Hon. Renward Wells attend the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Friday, September 27, 2019. During the General Debate today, Prime Minister Minnis will deliver the National Statement of The Bahamas. In his address, the Prime Minister will share with the Assembly the impact of Hurricane Dorian on Abaco and Grand Bahama, and how the country is responding to the effects of climate change.
