Artist Dede Brown mixes cherries, marionettes and the female body in several forms for some provocative and captivating images in the Peep Show exhibit at Popop Studios, which also features work by Dylan Rapillard.

BahamasLocal.com got the chance to interview Brown about her work and the show which will continue until June 10. If you have not made your way to the exhibit you may want to plan a trip. Find out more at www.popopstudios.com.

See some of the pieces from Brown's Cherryies and puppets series at her website here.

I was at Popop for something unrelated to the Peep Show exhibit but had to stop for a lingering look at several of the pieces. Luckily enough, Brown was on hand and did not mind talking on camera about her work, inspiration and process.
