Man has case to answer in drug trial

A man whose fingerprints tied him to a stash of drugs found hidden in bushes must present a defense at his trial, a magistrate ruled yesterday.

Michael Herbert faces one count of possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply at his trial before Magistrate Samuel McKinney.

Herbert, who is represented by Dion Smith, will present his defense on September 16.

The crew of Bravo Tango was on patrol when it went to Springfield Road on November 21, 2018, in pursuit of two men, the court heard.
