The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has taken over the human trafficking case of a Dominican national.

Eucal Bonaby appeared on behalf of the Crown at a status hearing for Sobeyda Garcia Reyes, also known as Soybeda Scrivens, yesterday.

Prosecutors allege that Reyes, of West Bay Street, trafficked a 23-year-old Venezuelan national, conspired to traffic her and unlawfully withheld her passport.
