With a click of your mouse, you can help propel Bahamian gospel artist Shara “Shara J” Johnson to win at the upcoming Music Love Awards, an annual event that honors people in the performing arts who are rarely recognized in any of the major awards platforms. Shara J has been nominated in three categories – Praise and Worship Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Song of the Year, for her single, “While I Wait”.

Shara J has been nominated in the Praise & Worship Artist of the Year category against Kenny Lumpkin, NEBS (Not Easily Broken Singers), Eric and Derrick McElroy and Pastor C’Tyre and Shift. In the Song of the Year category, she is up against “A New Chapter”, Stephen Robinson; “I Paid for it”, Andrea Carlisle; “Mercy Says”, Andrew Kurtz; “Precious”, Anointed Mims Singers; “Holy Ghost”, COGIC; and “Keep Prayin’”, Essence. And in the Songwriter of the Year category, she is up against Chris McGehee, Lorraine Dunn and Brenda Kwaidah.
