A former national athlete was yesterday denied bail on fraud charges.

Triple jumper Allen Mortimer, 41, of Misty Gardens, who police say uses the aliases Sean Miller, Tracy Mortimer, Gordia Ewing and Kayla Allen, appeared before Senior Magistrate Derence Rolle-Davis on charges of credit by fraud and attempted credit by fraud.

Prosecutors allege that Mortimer fraudulently obtained credit at Fusion Superplex from February 2019 through June 2019.
