The Bahamas Hot Rod Association (BHRA) will host the Gus ‘Big Jew’ Outten Invitational at the BHRA Motorsports Park, Queen Elizabeth Sports Center on Monday, August 5, 2019.

Outten, a former police officer and past president of the BHRA, recently had surgery and current President of BHRA Ellie Ferguson and his team saw fit to honor him at the event.

Gates will open at noon and races are set to begin at 2 p.m. The event promises to cater for everyone as there will be bouncing castle and other activities for children.

Ferguson added that Outten has been an integral part of the BHRA over the years and is one of the big racers in the sport.
