Congratulations to businessmen and philanthropists, brothers and business partners, Chris and Terry Tsavoussis for receiving the R. E. Cooper Sr. Meritorious Service Award for Business Development & Community Support.
This noble honor was bestowed upon them on Friday July 26, 2019 in a private ceremony that was held at Government House by His Excellency Governor General C. A. Smith and Dr. R.E. Cooper Jr. Together this dynamic duo has demonstrated entrepreneurial excellence in both construction with Premiere Homes Ltd. and in the Quick Service Industry (QSR) as local franchise operators for Marco’s Pizza, Popeyes, and Wendy’s, each with 37 years of business experience.
Over the past three decades they have achieved record breaking sales and received top sales honors for all QSR brands. They are also actively involved in the community having established the Tune Into Reading Program through Mission Educate aimed at improving the literacy rate of the educational system in The Bahamas.
This combined with hosting an annual Christmas Party at PMH for the Children’s Ward, and countless other contributions has demonstrated their continuous community support.
