The Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC) is bringing their limited edition, Coca-Cola Bahamas glasses to Abaco, Andros and Eleuthera, this August!

CBC launched a series of 7 drinking glasses celebrating Bahamian pride, earlier this summer, that feature Grand Bahama, Eleuthera, Abaco, Long Island, Andros, New Providence, and The Bahamas, as a whole. The glasses can be redeemed all summer long, in Grand Bahama and New Providence, but the Coca-Cola Bahamas team will also visit the other islands featured in the glassware line.

“This summer, Coca-Cola Bahamas wanted to celebrate all things Bahamian” noted Nikia Wells, CBC Communications Marketing Manager. “Our team got together, and decided to create a series of glasses that featured imagery that was synonymous with the Bahamian islands. These included Rawson Square in New Providence, St. Peter's & St. Paul's Catholic Church in Long Island, the iconic land crab of Andros, the pineapples of Eleuthera, the sea grapes of Grand Bahama, the lighthouse of Hope Town, Abaco as well as the full range of islands in our beautiful Bahamaland for The Bahamas glass.

” Wells added, “In addition to featuring the islands, we also wanted to make it as easy as possible for those in the family islands to get the glass of their choice. We have already visited Long Island, and we will be heading to several other islands in the next few days and weeks.

” The Coca-Cola Bahamas team visited Long Island in July, and will travel into Andros from Aug 2-4, Abaco from Aug 7-9 and Eleuthera from Aug 14-16. The team will visit a number of locations around the islands to give shoppers a chance to get their hands on their favorite design.

Customers shopping at supermarkets in New Providence and Grand Bahama can receive a free glass when they purchase two (2) - 6-packs of any Coca-Cola beverage, or four (4) - 2ltr bottles of any Coca-Cola beverage or one case of any Dasani beverage. Receipts can be redeemed at the CBC Sir Milo Butler Highway or Grand Bahama offices’ front desks or sampling events happening throughout the summer.

The Coca-Cola Bahamas glass campaign is just one of the exciting activities CBC has planned for the summer months. The fun officially kicked off with the Coca-Cola Love jingle contest, which wrapped up in mid-June. Lavardo “Shine” Sands was the winner of the contest, and his entry will be the official Coca-Cola jingle for the entire summer. Other upcoming Coca-Cola Bahamas events include pop-up beach samplings and event activations.
