Team Bahamas’ chef de mission to the 18th Pan Games, D’Arcy Rahming Sr., was tied up in meetings most of Thursday, preparing to put all the pieces in place for The Bahamas’ delegation which consists of athletes representing four disciplines.

“I have meetings lined up upon meetings,” he informed on Thursday morning while anticipating the opening ceremony today at the Estadio Nacional del Peru, slated to begin approximately at 6 p.m. (7 p.m. in The Bahamas). The LOC (Local Organizing Committee – Lima 2019 Panamericanos) has already heralded it to be “a blaze of fireworks and native cultural productions”.
