The Bahamas District Church Of The Nazarene.

The Bahamas District Church Of The Nazarene will hold an Ordination Service for two of their Ministers at the Palmetto Point Church of the Nazarene, Palmetto Point, Eleuthera, The Bahamas on Sunday July 28th ,2019 at 10:00am.

Minister Cyprianna Edgecombe, Interim Pastor of the Central Church of the Nazarene, Nassau, The Bahamas and Minister Roland Cadet of the Palmetto Point Church of the Nazarene, Eleuthera, The Bahamas will be ordained.

This event is an historic one as it will be held for the first time on the beautiful shores of Eleuthera. Dr. David W. Graves, General Superintendent, Church Of The Nazarene, Lenexa, Kansas, USA, along with Rev. Rodwell Alphonso Porter, Field Strategy Coordinator of the Mesoamerica Region of the Church of the Nazarene, Georgetown, Guyana, and Rev. John C. Wildgoose Ⅲ, District Superintendent Bahamas District Church of the Nazarene will preside over the event.

The Church of the Nazarene has been in the Bahamas for over 44 years. As a denomination we are a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. We heed the Biblical call to holy living and entire devotion to God, which we proclaim through the theology of entire sanctification.

There are currently eleven churches in the Bahamas, inclusive of four Creole speaking churches. They are:
