Wildcats, Brackettes pick up win in the NPSA

There was a doubleheader in the New Providence Softball Association (NPSA) ladies’ division on the Bankers Field at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex on Saturday night, and it was the Sunshine Auto Wildcats and the Brackettes who picked up wins.

In the late game, the Brackettes held on to defeat the Johnson’s Lady Truckers, 12-5. In the early game, the Wildcats shut out the University of The Bahamas Mingoes, 8-0.

With that win, the Brackettes now have a 7-1 win/loss record. The Lady Truckers are now 2-8 on the season.

The Wildcats are right behind the Brackettes with a 7-2 record. The Mingoes fell to 3-5 on the season.

On the men’s side, the C&S Hitmen remain perfect with an 8-0 record. The Commando Security Truckers are the closest team to them with a 4-5 record.
