There is little room for error for Team Bahamas at the Little League Caribbean and Latin American Championships that is currently in progress in Willemstad, Curaçao. Over at Stadion Post 6 Park in Willemstad, Team Bahamas, represented by the Junior Baseball League of Nassau (JBLN), fell to Curacao’s B team, Pariba Little League, on Saturday, but came back and defeated Bonaire on Sunday.
Team Bahamas plays Antigua & Barbuda at 10 a.m. this morning and will face off against Cuba at noon tomorrow. They will play the Dominican Republic in their final pool game at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Over in Pool A are Aruba, Curacao’s A team – Pabao Little League, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Team Bahamas lost to the team from Curacao on Saturday, 7-3, but bounced back to beat Bonaire on Sunday, 15-0, and have a 1-1 win/loss record in the tournament.
