40th CARICOM Business Sessions Get Underway

GROS ISLET, St. Lucia -- Prime Minister, the Most Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis and official delegation attend the first business session of the 40th Regular Meeting of CARICOM Heads of Government in St. Lucia. Items on the agenda for today’s (4 July) session include blacklisting, the SIDS Resilience Foundation, and the CSME. CARICOM Special Guest, Her Excellency Erna Solberg, Prime Minister of Norway, will also address the session today. Bahamas Senator, the Hon. Jennifer Isaacs-Dotson, President of the Caribbean Congress of Labour (CCL), is scheduled to take part in the engagement with representatives of the private sector, labour and civil society.
