Hundreds of boaters took part in the ‘Unleash The Beast’ Monster Energy Beach Party Obstacle Course during the forth-annual Bahamas Poker Run event, which took place on Jun. 29. The Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC) was the proud non-alcoholic beverage sponsor, and kept participants hydrated as they made their way around various beaches in northern Eleuthera.

Boating enthusiasts from around the Bahamas and abroad, took part in the full-day boating convoy, with the aim to collect playing cards for an opportunity to win prizes. After two stops, the day of cruising picturesque Bahamian waters culminated in a private beach party that included a Monster Energy “Unleash The Beast” Obstacle Course that featured a number of fun games and gave boaters the chance to win exclusive Monster gear.

“We are grateful for Caribbean Bottling Company’s support since the inception of Bahamas Poker Run (BPR), keeping our bar stocked with popular mixers from Schweppes and Coca-Cola.” Noted Shane Freedman, BPR Co-Founder. “To up the ante in the event’s fourth year, Monster Energy was included, which was not only a welcomed refreshment for BPR participants, it was an exciting infusion of fun and sport.”

Jordan Lampkin, who is also a co-founder of BPR added, “Monster’s lively competitions were enjoyed by many of our attendees and kept the high-octane spirit of the event going throughout the beach party. We heartily thank Caribbean Bottling Company and their various brands for continuing to be a part of the Bahamas Poker Run and for keeping it fresh year after year.” The Bahamas Poker Run is a fun day for boaters, but the event also raises vital funding for the Bahamas National Trust. This year, the organization will once again make a donation to be used towards the parks’ management and upkeep.

“The Bahamas Poker Run is always an amazing event, and the CBC team was happy to be back on board as a beverage sponsor with Monster Energy, Coca-Cola and our Schweppes line of mixers” noted Nikia Wells, CBC Communications Marketing Manager. “Poker Run also stands out because in addition to being a fun and memorable time that people look forward to each year, the event also raises funding for the BNT Parks and their ongoing efforts to help preserve the breathtaking beauty of the Bahamas.”
