Patrick Ward, president and chief executive officer of Bahamas First General Insurance Company, has been elected to the board of directors of the Insurance Association of the Caribbean Inc. (IAC).

Ward will serve as a director for the period commencing June 2019 to May 2022. According to its website, “The Insurance Association of the Caribbean (IAC) Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and growth of the Caribbean insurance industry through research, education and advocacy… in so doing to create a platform for regional harmonization and integration in the industry.”
