This past Wednesday real estate companies were invited to the launch of Palm Cay’s Phase V Anchorage which is the final 8 units of the very popular Anchorage condominium project within the Palm Cay resort community.

According to General Manager Rob Batchelor, there are 48 Anchorage condominiums of which approximately 80% have been sold to Bahamians who have been looking to either downsize or buy a rental investment property.

Batchelor says “We are very pleased with the success of the Anchorage sales and recognize the important role the real estate community has played in believing in our product and having the confidence to bring their clients to our community.

We recognize there is a lot of competition and choices for both buyers and for realtors to offer to their clients.

The great thing about Palm Cay is we have already finished our amenities and we are established and have been recognized for 5 years in a row by Active Captain as the best marina in The Bahamas. Active Captain is the Trip Advisor for the boating community. We are also the closest marina to the very popular Exuma Cays.”

Alexandrea Davis, agent for Coldwell Banker says, “Palm Cay offers so many opportunities for my clients, it has powder sand beaches, diverse products like homesites and beachfront townhomes and a full-service marina.”

In addition to viewing the Anchorage units, agents had a tour of the remaining Starfish Isle townhomes which have proven to be exceptional vacation rental properties, and also One Marina which is the newest contemporary style waterfront apartments that are currently under construction.

Batchelor ads, “We have sold eight out of ten of the first phase One Marina units ranging in prices from $800,000 to $1,800,000 for the penthouse. Phase Two should launch by the end of summer.”

The Starfish Isle units are the beachfront section of the resort community. Engel & Volkers advisor Alex Jupp says, After touring the marina by boat, agents were treated at the beach club with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by an exclusive listing offer which went to Byron Ferguson of ERA Dupuch Realty. The prices of the final anchorage units start at $460,000 for a 3-bedroom, 2-bath condominium.

“I have friends that have purchased here and made friends with some of those that already live here.

You will find Bahamians, Americans, Canadians, Europeans and they have all found their special something here in addition to being surrounded by an award- winning marina and picturesque beach setting
