Commonwealth Bank made a $500,000, 10-year pledge to support the Cancer Society of The Bahamas’ Cancer Caring Centre and stands committed to their promise. As a Platinum Sponsor of this year’s Gala Ball, Commonwealth Bank reaffirms its commitment to the Society and its valiant work to support and assist those affected with cancer, here in The Bahamas.

The 18th Annual Gala Ball, held recently under the patronage of Dr. The Most Honourable Hubert A. Minnis and Mrs. Minnis gave Commonwealth Bank another opportunity to aid in the effort of raising awareness and funds for the support and care of Bahamians battling Cancer.

This year’s theme, ‘Met Gala: Survival’ highlighted not only the plight of those affected by cancer, but their will to overcome and survive the disease.
