Shanghai School of Business Officials Share Motivations for Urban Planning for the Municipality

Officials from the Shanghai School of Business made a special presentation on 'Urban Planning in the Municipality of Shanghai' at the Ministry of Public Works Distinguished Lecture Series, Thursday, May 23, 2019. Shanghai is considered a traditional yet modern business and economic hub. With a population of 26.32 million, Shanghai stands tall in China hosting among its other unique attributes, a national venue for trade and exhibition.

The presentation showcased the Chinese belief that planned urbanization is a vital part of any move towards the economic growth and stability of a nation. Parliamentary Secretary in the Bahamas Ministry of Public Works, Iram Lewis brought welcoming remarks. Representing the Shanghai School of Business were Vice-President, He Wong (who presented); Dean of Management Faculty, Sheng Qiao; Deputy Dean of Professional Finance and Accounting Faculty, Zhu Weijuan and Vice-Dean of Continuing Education Faculty, Chen Wei.
