Powerade & CBC Hydrate Tour de Lootra Cyclists During 100 Mile Race!

For the fifth year, avid cyclists pedaled 100 miles across Eleuthera for the Tour de Lootra Charity Challenge, and the Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC) was back on board as a proud beverage sponsor.

CBC kept the bikers hydrated and fueled up with Powerade for the May 4 race, which started at Gene’s Bay and ended at Cape Eleuthera. Proceeds from the race were, once again, donated to The Care Center, an Eleuthera based non-profit organization that provides food and clothing to men and women in need.

“The Tour de Lootra race not only challenges participants to push themselves physically, but it encourages bikers to go the distance for a worthy cause,” noted Nikia Wells, CBC Communications Marketing Manager. “We were happy to, once again, be back on board, with Powerade.”
