For the fifth year, avid cyclists will pedal 100 miles across Eleuthera for the Tour de Lootra Charity Challenge, and the Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC) will be back on board as a proud beverage sponsor.
CBC will keep the bikers hydrated and fueled up with Powerade for the May 4 race, which will start at Gene’s Bay and end at Cape Eleuthera. Proceeds from the race will once again be donated to The Care Center, an Eleuthera based non-profit organization that provides food and clothing to men and women in need.
“The Tour de Lootra race not only challenges participants to push themselves physically, but it encourages bikers to go the distance for a worthy cause,” noted Nikia Wells, CBC Communications Marketing Manager. “We are happy to, once again, be back on board, and we are excited to keep everyone hydrated with Powerade.”
