Dancers in Grand Bahama took to the stage, at the start of the E. Clement Bethel National Arts Festival dance adjudications on the island March 27, 2019. 

Students presented performances in modern, jazz, popular and international folk dances, to cheers and applause of the audience at Grand Lucayan Convention Centre -- adjudicated by Cultural Icon Lawrence Carroll. 

More than 500 entries are expected to take part in the Grand Bahama Festival in dance, drama, the visual arts, and music, until April 5. (BIS Photos / Eric Rose)
